I am Yuri Salvador, a Brazilian Director of Photography based in Berlin since 2012. I hold a Master's Degree in Cinematography from the renowned Filmuniversität Babelsberg "Konrad Wolf" in Germany, I have expertise in both documentary and narrative productions, including music videos, advertisements, and feature film. A noteworthy moment in my career include my contribution in the documentary "Exodus," directed by Hank Levine and Fernando Meirelles, both Oscar-nominated for the prestigious film "City of God."

 

Between 2019 and 2020, I had the privilege of assuming a crucial role as a “second unit camera” in the highly successful Netflix documentary series, "Neymar: The Perfect Chaos," produced by Camp Fire. This remarkable production reached a staggering global audience of over 80 million viewers.

 

In 2022, I achieved a significant milestone with the release of my debut feature film, "Tamara," directed by Jonas L. Walter (Jost Hering Filme). The film gained attention and recognition at esteemed festivals such as "Achtung Berlin”, "Max Ophüls”, Filmkunstfest Mecklenburg Vorpommern”, “Neiße Filmfestival” and “Brno Festival”.
